मैने बादल से उसका अस्तित्व पूछा
वो फूट फूट बरस उठा
मैने उससे कहा तेरा ठिकाना है कहाँ
वो कुछ व्याकुल, काला हो चला
मैने पूछा तू किस दिशा से है आया
वो मुझ पर गरज उठा
मेरा मंन घबराया
मूँद के आँखें मैं बैठ गई
वो गरजता रहा बरसता रहा
आँख खुली तो उसे ना पाया
आकाश एकदम साफ था
सूरज की सुनहरी किरण को देख
मन मेरा मुस्कुरा उठा
सूरज बोला
बादल का है बस इतना सा अस्तित्व
तू यूह ना घबरा
गम तुम्हे धमकाएगे
पल पल सताएगे
तू हार कभी ना मान ना
चमकीले दिन भी ज़िंदगी मे आएगे||

wo phoot phoot baras utha
maine usse kaha tera thikana hai kahan
wo kuch vyakul, kala ho chala
maine pucha tu kis disha se hai aaya
wo mujh per garaj utha
mera mann ghabraya
mund ke aankhen main baith gai
wo garajta raha barasta raha
aankh khuli to use na paya
aakash ekdam saaf tha
suraj ki sunhari kiran ko dekh
man mera muskura utha
suraj bola
badal ka hai bas itna sa astitv
tu yuh na ghabra
gum tumhe dhamkayege
pal pal satayege
tu haar kabhi na maan na
chamkile din bhi zindgi me aayege||
